Many other famous cowboys visited the factory in Buford including Gene Autry, Dan Blocker of Bonanza fame, Lash LaRue, Gabby Hayes, and Kenny Rogers. Even William F. Cody, well-known as Buffalo Bill, got his saddle from Buford.

Montie Montana had this saddle made for him by  Bona Allen  and later on  gave this saddle to a favorite neighbor lady  about 40 years ago.  She passed away 10 years ago. Daughter took it out of storage and sold.

 Notice the large concho over 3 1/2" wide sterling silver saddle horn topped with a gold bull head. It is quite a hunk of metal and does not come with the standard Bona Allen saddle.
Verry good shape a few stains, except  around the yellow where it meets the brown near the back of the seat,

This saddle looks very usable, but keep in mind it is a valuable antique if you ride it, Seat is 15".
 
 

 The saddle bags do not with the and are missing.

The stiruups were added later.
