For Sale    Bohlin #21A
I have a Bohlin made saddle that I'm selling.

This is a from the 80's that I thought you might be interested in. The show
saddle was made in 1985 for my husband in the Bohlin shop in Burbank and is
in like new condition, and has been stored in an air-conditioned office.
This saddle appeared in the 1986 Edward H. Bohlin Catalogue as item #21A,
and is listed as follows:
"This medium oiled fully tooled swirl cut saddle has sterling silver Indian
heads on the tie conchos and on the saddle horn. It has a fully padded suede
seat with chocolate buck stitching around the swell caps and seat. It also
has sterling silver hand engraved corner plates, on the skirts, with
sterling silver Indian heads. There is a raised sterling Indian head on the
center of the breast collar and fully tooled matching leather stirrups. This
saddle is fully lined and stitched and double rigged with stainless rigging,
and makes a beautiful show saddle or pleasure saddle. It is completely
handmade, hand tooled as are all of our saddles and comes with a matching
bridle and sterling bit........"

This saddle has a 16" fully padded suede seat. The corner plates, Indian
heads and Conchos are sterling silver, HAND ENGRAVED AND Bohlinmade.

The breast collar has a raised sterling silver Indian head in the center of
it and 2 sterling silver 3 piece Bohlin sport buckle sets are on the ends of
the straps.

The bridle is all hand made with sterling silver Bohlin made ferules, a
sterling silver rein slide a 2 sterling silver Bohlin 3 piece buckle sets,
as well as a small sterling silver plate with sterling silver Indian heads
and hand engraving. We have an additional set of sterling stirrups made to
match.

Ahmad Khan, the lead master gold/silversmith during the 80's mad all of the
sterling silver for this saddle in the Bohlin shop and is so marked. All of
the sterling silver was engraved by Mr. McKenna, better known as Mac, who
died in 1990.
